From early to late Showa period, except the interruption of the war, Imari porcelain stayed in the lists of Japanese export. The production of porcelain in Japan was improved by the newer technology and it increased more quantity and quality. Old Imari style of porcelains was continued to be made in the different areas in Japan.

Mostly hand-painted in under-glaze blue and over-glaze enameled colors, with bright gold decoration. In a center circle, depicting pine-bamboo-plum motif with border design of uzu (swirl pattern), and outer surrounding border depicting in sections with shishi (fu-dog) and karahana (foreign flower) motif. Brand mark, Ryuhou in double squares. 15cm dia., 5cm high. (5 7/8″, 2″). (1960-1990).
