|Poem reads friends drinking & singing under the bright
moon light, with cool breath over calm water, were lost in
time until the moon setting to the east of the sky.
Fuyo-de style was derived from an earlier
Chinese Kraak ware. The name in Japanese
means a shape of fuyo ( hibiscus mutabilis),
with the devided sections of the decoration
similar to floral pedals.
