Kyo-yaki Japanese porcelain sometsuke plate, hand painted in under glaze
blue with Shonzui sarasa pattern, signed to base, Gorosuke-saku, made by
4th Asami Gorosuke ( 1895-1967)

Shonzui is a style of Chinese export porcelain ware to japan from the late Ming dynasty, for an exclusive use for
the kaiseki meals, often signed with Shonzui Gorodayu.
Sarasa is a floral print motif of calico patterns
